Christian Dream Interpretation

At first, one may be hesitant about the dream world which is unfamiliar at first. After all, “normal” people don’t do things like that, do they?

Bible believing Christians today, more than ever, need to hear from God in the night season, it’s not scary, it’s not eerie, it’s just Bible. Dreams aren’t “junk mail” they’re important mail.

Many have been taught that dreams are superstitious, dangerous or to be avoided and therefore many have shied away from delving into their own dreams and receiving guidance from trained dream counselors.

-The many dreams recorded in the Bible indicate to us how vital and important they actually are.  In fact the Bible is loaded with verses such as Is. 26:9 At night my soul longs for You, Indeed, my spirit within me seeks You diligently;

-Dreams are and will become more and more important for God’s leading to us in the final days as in Joel 2:24 and Acts 2:17, “It shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; you sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young people shall see visions and your old people shall dream dreams.” And Hebrews 1:1-2 says, “God, who at various times and in different ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son.”-

-Do you want to know what God is saying to you in the night?

-Do you want to know the difference when your own soul is coming forth, the enemy is interfering or when God is actually speaking to you? Jeremiah 29:8 tells us to “Be aware and don’t act or dwell on dreams which you cause to be dreamed,” in other words, “soul” dreams. 

-Do you want to know and receive Godly counsel from Holy Spirit?

-Do you want to receive direction from Holy Spirit?

Of course you do, we all want to be led by Holy Spirit.

Paul said, “Test all things; hold fast to what is good.” 1Thessalononians 5:21.

Interpreting dreams isn't for everyone, God gives gifts unto men as He pleases and it’s vitally important to receive a spiritually Christian dream from a Holy Spirit filled Christian. There are different gifts for people of the body of Christ and we must trust and rely on each other to fill those needs.

God does speak to people in dreams, He will speak to you in your dreams and actually He is speaking to you already.

Some of the people who had dreams in the Bible were: Abraham, the three wise men, Daniel, Pharaoh, Joseph (Jesus’ Father) had several dreams, Joseph the son of Jacob, Abeimelech, Nebuchadnezzar, Jacob, Pilate’s wife, and many others.

One of the most important things God uses dreams for is to help us solve our problems and they are gold mines of information and encouragement!
